Healthy Living BEYOND Weight Study
Join our study to explore how weight management today shapes the future of healthy living.
You can support the American Heart Association (AHA) Healthy Living BEYOND Weight Study by sharing your unique experience with weight management. As a participant in the study, you will complete online surveys and share information about your health and lifestyle. Participants will have access to health resources, the latest research findings and community insights. We’ll also answer common questions about overweight and obesity and weight management treatments and give participants the chance to share their experiences in a supportive community.

- Learn about new weight loss medications and treatments and related long-term outcomes.

- Assess the real-world effectiveness and safety of treatments like GLP-1 and other innovative therapies.
- Shape public health data that will inform care and treatments that support overall health and well-being.
Eligibility Criteria
You may be eligible to join the Healthy Living BEYOND Weight Study if you meet the following eligibility criteria:
- You are 18 years of age or older and reside in the United States.
- You are currently taking, or recently took, a weight loss medication such as a GLP-1. A few examples of GLP-1 medications are Semaglutide, Tirzepatide, and Liraglutide.
- You have had a weight loss or bariatric procedure such as a gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, or gastric banding.
- Your BMI is 25 or greater (click here to calculate your BMI)
