Open Enrollment is the annual enrollment period when individuals and families across the U.S. who don't have access to employer-based health insurance can sign up for health care through the Affordable Care Act.
When is Open Enrollment?
Open Enrollment runs from November 1 - December 15, 2019. However, some states do provide a longer enrollment period. Find out more about your state's open enrollment period.
Just like last year, Healthcare.gov(link opens in new window)(link opens in new window) is expected to be down for maintenance from 12 a.m. to 12 p.m. every Sunday during open enrollment, excluding the final Sunday, Dec. 8, 2019.
