2022 Go Red for Women Breakout Session - Reclaiming Your Rhythm with Dr. Kusum Lata of Sutter Health
Dr. Kusum Lata is an Interventional Cardiologist for Sutter Health in Tracy, CA. She also serves as a local ambassador for the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women campaign. Awareness, recognition, evaluations, and management will help women triumph over their greatest health threat, cardiovascular disease. By prioritizing their care women can be ready and fit to take care of the other people in their lives who matter to them most.

Know the signs and symptoms of a heart attack and stroke.
Heart Attack
- Chest discomfort that can feel like pressure, squeezing, fullness or pain
- Pain or discomfort in one or both arms, the back, neck, jaw or stomach
- Shortness of breath
- Other signs may include a cold sweat, nausea or lightheadedness.
Stroke, act “F.A.S.T”
- F - Face drooping on one side or numb
- A - Arm weakness
- S - Speech that’s slurred, difficulty speaking
- T – Time to call 911
